I, like many people, am a lover of quotes…sometimes the right one can strike you at just the right moment.

My friends and I have even been as dramatic to say…“Quotes. Save. My. Life.” (there’s another one for ya 😉 )

…But it’s true—they inspire &  provide clarity…and who doesn’t like little bit of that? Especially when times are tough…

Today as I was finishing my US government and politics essays (blah) …I stumbled upon this one… and had that little light bulb moment.

“ Decision is a sharp knife that cuts clean and straight; indecision, a dull one that hacks and tears and leaves ragged edges behind it. ”

—    Gordon Graham

We are constantly faced with decisions…big & small–at every moment of every day…Should I quit my job in order to be happy? or move to a new city—getting out of my comfort zone?or, on a much smaller scale… Should I read rather than watch some trashy television program? or Go for that jog?

I unfortunately also happen to be one of the most indecisive individuals on the planet…my choice in nail color—can cause an indecisive debacle…so it’s something I am working on …

But the truth is there is such power in decisiveness—even though we don’t always know what certain decisions will lead to—or if we are really making the right one…just making the decision itself & going with– is liberating all on its own

So…make some decisions today…big or small…and hopefully you’ll look back and realize at least one was a damn good one !

Today I decide… to let go of what others think.

What’s your favorite/go-to quote?
