{A Breakfast/Dessert Recipe}

I am a creature of habit, by nature and rarely switch up my foodie routine but I do love to experiment with healthy recipes, when I have the time. This one, below has become a staple of mine and though, indulgent tasting still a rather healthy brekky or sweet treat option…Make to your liking & enjoy!

Dark Chocolate Cottage Cheese Spread:

  • 1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese or  Greek Yogurt
  • 1 TBSP Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 1 TBSP Grounded Flax Seed
  • 1 Stevia packet
  • 1-2 TBSP Almond Milk

Directions: Mix, mix, mix & spread on sprouted toast (my recent, most favorite healthy find has been almond bread from Julians Bakery —>http://www.julianbakery.com), then top with favorite fruit on hand ( strawberries, blueberries, banana…!)

**Note: above is just the most basic recipe—but I am constantly adding in optional alternatives!

Optional ingredients: mix in 1 TBSP peanut/nut or almond butter, flavored protein powder, cinnamon & pumpkin puree !
