WIWW: Spain Edition

Mainly due to the excessive amount of clothing I brought—I have been having lots of fun simply getting dressed each and every morning in Spain. Little did I realize the amount of shopping we would do—& the amount of authentic Spanish ‘ropa’ I would want to buy…. Im constantly swooning as I people watch in the main Plaza—the Spaniards always dress to impress and even the little ones ae always adorably dressed to the nines with their hair perfectly combed.

Even better has been the fact that my “sister” here is a fashion designer (the best in Vallodolid) and so appreciating what each other is wearing each day has been fun ….

Also, in lieu of fashion talk…much controversy stirs in the current political state of España. The Rey, King Juan Carlos, stepped down a few days ago (never has that happened) and his son, Felipe will takeover. Spain has both a republic&& monarch government–and the Spaniards feel strongly, yet differently about that factor….I won’t get into the politics of it but much like the British parliament the Spaniards are constantly buzzing with talk of the soon to King and his wife (soon to be Queen) Letizia Ortiz. Her style is splendid (muy bonita)…a mix between Audrey Hepburn && Olivia Palermo…mucho gusto (favorites below):
