I love the idea of whisking up something pretty at every meal but rarely have the time or patience to do so…But now, with sumer in full swing I have enjoyed experimenting with recipes and giving meals the time they deserve…These patriot pancakes taste just as good as they look and are equally as nutritious as delicious—an added bonus !

What you’ll need:
1/3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 small Banana
1 Egg (can be replaced with egg beaters)
3 oz. Greek Yogurt
1/2 scoop of protein powder (…I used vanilla)
1/4 tsp baking powder
Mix together the dry ingredients—whole wheat flour, stevia and baking powder.
Mix together the wet ingredianets—mash 1/2 of the banana with greek yogurt.
Combine all together and whisk.
Spray pan & cook pancakes.
*this recipe is single serve and whips up 2 medium sized pancakes
**over the top you may enjoy adding fresh fruit, honey, chopped almonds or nut butter…whatever tickles your fancy…the options are endless !
