DIY: Sharpie Mugs.

Because I am the type who enjoys having multiple cups of coffee/tea a day…finding this super simple DIY craft was a fun way to support the habit. I used this tutorial here.

What You’ll Need:

Ceramic Mugs (find them extra affordable at the Dollar Tree!)

Sharpie (any permanent marker will do)

Simply create your design/typography on ceramic mug.

Preheat oven to 350.

Bake mugs for 30 minutes—&& ta-da !

clockwise from top left: 1) “This Morning–with her, Having Coffee”. –Johnny Cash, when asked what his idea of paradise is…                      2) “She Likes Her Coffee Like She Likes Her Men…” (insert adjective on handlebar—STRONG, SWEET, TAN, BLACK…to each their own here…;) )      3) “But First, Coffee “ !          4) Tea bag with “You Are My Cup Of Tea” on the other sides upper rim.

“She Loves Green Tea”

For my first batch I started by just using a few of my favorite coffee/tea quotes, but the ideas && possibilities are endless (his & hers, patterns & prints, colored sharpie) ! So, get creative && make for your loved ones…I can’t wait to use these && make plenty more .

*Ps. In case of mess-ups and/or you’re a perfectionist (like me) nail polish remover does allow for a re-dos and takes the sharpie right off (before baking) !
